Huawei Mate 30 Pro getting March 2021 security improvements

Huawei has almost completed the rollout of the EMUI 11 update rollout across the globe. The company is now aiming for the HarmonyOS launch which is coming near.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro is one of the models from Huawei’s previous-gen flagship, which was also a part of EMUI 11 beta testing earlier. After months of beta activity, these device’s beta test as well as EMUI 10.1 users across the world upgraded over the EMUI 11 in December 2020.

EMUI 11 offers new changes for user interface, latest features including artistic AOD, smoother animation, subtle effect, rhythmic ringtones, system translation, and more.

For further improvements, Huawei is pushing a new software update for Mate 30 Pro device. This update mainly installs the security patch released in March 2021, which protects the phone against threats.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro users can identify the latest update with the  EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.180 which comes with an update package size of 269MB. It is currently rolling out in Indonesia and will soon expand to other regions as well.
