Samsung Galaxy S21 FE to launch ahead of schedule

Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone have been circulating since the beginning of this year. According to the latest information, Samsung will release the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in August this year to fill the gap left by the Galaxy Note series. Recall that a new smartphone of this line will not be released this year due to a banal lack of components.

The smartphone will receive a body with dimensions of 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9 mm, while the total thickness will grow to 9.3 mm, given the camera protrusion. The device will be slightly larger than the standard version of the Galaxy S21.

The bezel will be metal, but the back will be made of plastic, and Samsung will add a matte effect to make it look not so cheap. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will feature a 6.4-inch FullHD + AMOLED flat panel with high refresh rate support.

The original Galaxy S21 features a 12MP main camera, a 64MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP wide-angle camera. The 64-megapixel camera in the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to be replaced with a simpler module.

The original S20 FE came with the Snapdragon 865 chipset, while the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could get the Snapdragon 870 or Snapdragon 888. Of course, there are options on the Exynos.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, which launched last October, proved to be very successful and quickly became one of the company’s best-selling smartphones in 2020.
