Sony closed the online PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP

On April 13, Sony announced at the end of last month that it will close the online PlayStation Store PS3 and PSP on July 2, 2021. In addition, the online store on PS Vita will also be closed, but it will be later and closed on August 27, 2021.

Recently, PS3 users have indicated that some games can no longer download the update patch. In the PSNProfiles forum, some players have summarized games that cannot download the update patch, including “Battlefield 4”, “Castama: Lord of Shadows”, “Payday 2”, “Tekken TT2”, “Soul Blade 4″ and ” “Justifiable Defense 2” and other masterpieces.

Besides, Sony has also announced the closure of the way to access PS1, PS2, PS3, PS Vita, and PSP via web browsers in the PS store. A specific URL previously allowed players to visit the old Sony store and purchase games from old consoles. However, the link has been disabled and will now be redirected to the new PlayStation Store, which only has PS4 and PS5 games.
