A couple of days ago, Samsung started releasing the latest security update to the Galaxy S20 series smartphones in select European countries. This firmware brings system security and stability improvements by installing the April 2021 security patch.
Now, new info is coming from the US that suggests the South Korean phone maker is now expanding the reach of this new security patch to more devices in different regions. According to Verizon support pages, the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra phones are getting the taste of the April 2021 security patch.

- Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra – G988USQU1DUCA
Apart from the security improvements, this new Galaxy S20 update doesn’t bring any new system optimizations or features. Meanwhile, the company has previously delivered a big firmware update, which was packed with new and massive camera features like ultrawide camera support in Portrait Mode, enhanced Night Hyperlapse, and much more.
