Lenovo records highest PC sales in China and commercial tablets took first place in market

Lenovo’s executive vice president Liu Jun revealed that in the first three financial quarters, Lenovo’s PC sales market share in China increased by 3.1 percentage points year-on-year and reached 38.9%, a record high.

In terms of market segmentation, the PC sales market share of Lenovo’s major customer business in China reached 55.5%. Among them, the PC sales market share in the corporate market increased by more than 3 percentage points year-on-year, reaching 60.9%, a record high. Moreover, the PC sales market share in the education market increased by 3.4 percentage points year-on-year, reaching 59.1%.

Liu Jun also revealed that” Lenovo’s sales of commercial tablets in China increased by 54% over the previous fiscal year, ranking first in market share; sales of consumer tablets were more than three times that of the previous fiscal year. He said that in the new fiscal year, commercial tablet PCs will continue to achieve breakthrough growth and secure their position as the No. 1 in the market; consumer tablet PCs will make full efforts to challenge the top three in the market”.

In addition, Lenovo China’s smart products revenue increased by 80% in the whole year, and smart services achieved annual revenue of 1 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 53%. The combined total revenue of smart products and smart services accounted for more than that in China 11.5% total income.
