Oppo gains top spot in the Chinese smartphone market for the first time: Counterpoint

On April 15, market research company Counterpoint released the latest report on the Chinese mobile phone market. In that data shows the 11th week of 2021, Vivo’s market share in China reached 24%, followed by OPPO with 21%, and Huawei with 15%.

Moreover, Huawei, Xiaomi, and OPPO have successively reached the top of the Chinese mobile phone market shipment, but due to some reasons, Huawei mobile phones are now frequently restricted.

Furthermore, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Apple, Samsung, and other manufacturers expanding their own market within the scope, but Vivo has not achieved such dazzling results before.

For now, Vivo’s main product lines include NEX, X, S, Y series, and the sub-brand iQOO. The NEX and X series are undoubtedly flagship series, while the S and U series are biased towards market segments and are expected to have higher offline shipments, while the Y series is biased towards lower prices, and iQOO focuses on cost performance and online channels.
