As reported, leaked photos of Intel’s offline conference PPT, showing that the 12-generation Core Alder Lake-S for desktop platforms and entry-level workstations will be released in the third quarter of this year.
Intel’s entry-level workstation series furnished with Alder Lakes-S processors will be available at the end of the third quarter of 2021e.
The roadmap also confirms that processors with 8 large cores + 8 small cores will be put into production at the earliest in the 35th week of 2021, and the 6 large cores + 0 small core version will be put into production in the 41st week.
Additionally, the leaked roadmap reveals that the platform will support the W680 chipset, and the processor’s TDP ranges from 125W, 65W to 35W.

Intel’s 12th-generation Core Alder Lake-S will adopt a new large and small core design, using an enhanced version of the 10nm SuperFin process. Intel will also release 600 series motherboards with LGA 1700 slots and support for DDR5 memory.
