Apple iPhone 13 millimeter wave models will increase to 55%-60%: Report

On April 19, Tianfeng International analyst Guo Mingchi released the latest Apple research report. The report pointed out that compared with 2020, the coverage of global 5G millimeter-wave infrastructure will increase significantly in the second half of 2021.

Moreover, it is expected that the proportion of millimeter-wave models of the new iPhone (iPhone 13) released in the second half of 2021 will increase significantly to 55%-60%. For comparison, the proportion of the millimeter-wave model of the iPhone 12 is about 30%-35%.

The report claims that 2021 is the first year of the 5G millimeter wave, and it is expected that iPhone 13 millimeter-wave models will support more countries, such as Canada, Japan, Australia, and major European operators.

Guo Mingchi said that the latest survey shows that the wireless communication design of the iPhone 13 millimeter-wave model is similar to that of the iPhone 12. In terms of the LCP soft board feeder, iPhone 13 is also equipped with 1 LCP soft board feeder on the top and side respectively.
