Nissan’s e-POWER power technology landed in Chinese automobile market
As per the news,Dongfeng Nissan’s ‘Unprecedented Converged Power-Technology Nissan e-POWER Night’ was held in Shanghai yesterday, officially announcing that Nissan’s e-POWER power technology has landed in the Chinese automobile market .
As of March 2021, the cumulative sales of models furnished with e-POWER have exceeded 500,000. Among them, Note e-POWER has won the sales champion of compact models in the Japanese market for three consecutive years.
Nissan has previously announced that the thermal efficiency of its next-generation e-POWER hybrid technology has reached 50% . It does not give power for the car itself, but serves as a dedicated generator for the electronic power system.
This means that the engine can always operate in its most effective range, enabling it to efficiently burn a more diluted air-fuel mixture at a high compression ratio. In traditional engines, the degree of air-fuel dilution varies due to different working conditions.
Additionally, Nissan plans to launch electric versions of all new models in major markets by the early 2030s, and hopes to be carbon neutral by 2050 .
