Audi A6 e-tron concept, supports 270kW fast charge, WLTP lasts over 700km

Yesterday, the 19th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition opened. The Audi A6 e-tron concept, a new C-class pure electric concept car built by FAW Audi based on the PPE platform, led in the world premiere.

As a strategic model of the Audi brand’s electrification layout, the Audi A6 e-tron concept will be put into production in Changchun by the Audi FAW new energy joint venture and will be sold by FAW Audi sales company.

FAW Audi said that this model is based on the PPE pure electric platform, supports 270kW fast charging, and the battery is charged for 10 minutes, which is enough for the car to travel more than 300 kilometers, while the time required for its 100 kWh battery to charge from 5% to 80% is less than 25 minutes.

Moreover, the Audi A6 e-tron concept has a cruising range of more than 700 kilometers under WLTP conditions. The Audi brand’s iconic fastback design is adopted. The total output power of the two motors can reach 350kW and the maximum torque can reach 800N·m. The flagship version accelerates from 100 kilometers to less than 4 seconds.
