Yuri Gagarin completed the first manned space flight on April 12, 1961. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of aerospace, Caviar launched a customized version of the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max “Space Conqueror” series.
Allegedly, these designs are not only a reminiscence of the past, but also a look to the future, and provide a valuable contribution to Elon Musk’s SpaceX and his ambition to go to Mars and Jeff Bezos’s blue Tribute to the origin of color.
This series of models has several commemorative versions such as Gagarin and Armstrong, which are expensive to build and even more expensive. The Gagarin version of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is made of aviation-grade titanium and is printed with a 3D miniature of the Vostok-K rocket. Yu Shi took the astronauts into outer space. There are only 12 models of this model, each of which represents Gagarin’s historical mission.
Moreover, the Gagarin version of the iPhone customized version has a navigator watch and real Vostok-1 former Soviet Vostok manned spacecraft Vostok-1 materials. The starting price is 8920 US dollars or about 58055 yuan.
As for the Armstrong version, it celebrates the Apollo 11 moon landing and Neil Armstrong, the first person to set foot on the moon. It symbolizes an astronaut who planted the American flag on the moon. The same space-grade titanium alloy, but the memorial accessories are fragments of the Apollo 11 spacecraft.
Similarly, the Armstrong version will only be produced in 11 units, with a starting price of $6450 each, which is approximately RMB 41979. In addition, Caviar also launched the father of aerospace Sergey Pavlovich Korolio the designer of the first intercontinental rocket ballistic missile with a range of more than 8000 kilometers, the first man-made earth satellite launch vehicle chief designer of the first manned spacecraft version.
This version is made of hardened titanium, coated with a double layer of 999 gold, and is engraved on the side with October 4, 1957, the date of the launch of the first artificial satellite. This version may have slightly more materials, and 99 units will be produced, starting at US$6,760, or about RMB 43,997.
After that is the SpaceX Mars customized version, which is printed with Musk’s silhouette and is limited to 19 units. It corresponds to the 19th year of SpaceX’s establishment. The starting price is $6610, which is about RMB 43,021. This version is made of the same titanium alloy, and the back is part of the CRS-14 Falcon 9 rocket and the CRS-17 Dragon spacecraft.
In addition, a diehard Musk fan asked them to design another version of Musk, mainly depicting the future of Musk’s landing on Mars. It uses the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft as its core and actually contains a piece of problematic spacecraft debris.
Of course, there will naturally be a Blue Origin version with SpaceX. Obviously, this is the model representing Bezos, engraved with the words April 29, 2015, which is the date when the New Shepard rocket first flew. This version is made of hardened titanium, engraved with feathers (the company’s logo), and costs $5,840, which is about RMB 38,009, which is slightly cheaper than the Musk version.
In addition to the iPhone 12, they also customized a watch that contains the Shalev meteorite fragments that were first discovered in 1968. It is limited to 99 pieces and starts at $4,450.
