The 2021 China International Clean Energy Expo opened in Beijing. The upcoming Loongson 3A5000 domestic CPU was unveiled at the expo.
As reported, this 3A5000 is equipped with a new generation of autonomous command system architecture released by Loongson Zhongke on April 15-LoongArch.
The staff of Loongson Zhongke said that this CPU is expected to be released in May or June this year, at the National Convention Center.
Loongson Architecture was officially released at the main forum of the Information Technology Application Innovation Forum in 2021.
The LoongArch architecture includes the basic architecture part and extension parts such as vector instructions, virtualization, and binary translation, with nearly 2000 instructions, excluding the MIPS instruction system.
Loongson Zhongke said that Loongson architecture has three characteristics: complete independence, advanced technology, and compatible ecology.
From the top-level planning of the entire architecture to the function definition of each part, to the code, name, and meaning of each instruction in the details, the Loongson architecture has been independently redesigned in the architecture and has full autonomy.
