On April 22, ZTE held a new server product launch conference and officially launched a new generation of ZTE server products based on Intel’s latest Xeon Scalable processors.
The two new products released by ZTE this time, including the ZXCLOUD R5300 G4X general-purpose server and R5500 G4X large storage server, have features like extreme performance, flexible expansion, stability, and reliability, and minimal operation and maintenance.
ZTE G4X server adopts the latest Intel Xeon third-generation scalable processor, dual-socket supports up to 80 cores, gives super general computing power; provides 16 channels, 32 memory slots, and the memory speed is increased to 3200MT/s.
And it supports Intel’s latest generation OptaneTM 200 series persistent memory. More importantly, G4X series servers have built-in 4~8 intelligent acceleration engines for heterogeneous computing.
Various heterogeneous computing resources can be flexibly scheduled to achieve the best combination of computing power, like CPU+GPU.CPU+FPGA, to meet scenarios like artificial intelligence, image processing, and industrial control.
