The core module of China space station “Tianhe” has been combined with the Long March 5B Yao-2 rocket. The rocket launch pad has left the assembly workshop along the ground orbit and moved slowly to the launch area. The rocket launch site is located in Wenchang, Hainan, and will be launched in the near future.

Moreover, Long March 5B Yao-2 launch vehicle, code-named CZ-5B, is a launch vehicle developed and improved on the Long March 5 rocket. It currently has the largest low-Earth orbit carrying capacity in China. The rocket has a total length of 53.7 meters, a take-off weight of approximately 874 tons, and a low-Earth orbit carrying a capacity of 25 tons.

Besides, the main body of the rocket has a diameter of 5 meters and is bundled with four boosters with a diameter of 3.35 meters. The rocket uses liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, and kerosene as propellants.

Furthermore, it will carry out space station construction work in 2021-2022, with multiple launch missions and two manned space missions. The Long March 5B launch vehicle will launch the core module of the space station, the Long March 7 launch vehicle will launch a cargo spacecraft, and the Long March 2F launch vehicle will send astronauts to the space station by launching a manned spacecraft.
