March 2021 security update rolling out for Huawei Enjoy 10e smartphone
Earlier this month, Huawei launched a new software update for Huawei Enjoy 10e smartphone users. It brings new applications and functions to the system, thereby improving the user experience.
According to the previous changelog, it added new smart message settings, popular recommended folders on the desktop, and quick download icons for applications such as Huawei Shopping Center, Huawei Club, and Education Center.
Now, Huawei has started to send another firmware update for Enjoy 10e in the same month. This update mainly installs the security patches released in March 2021 to improve system security.
Users of these devices can view the complete EMUI changelog and other important information about the software package and its version information below.
EMUI VERSION:
- Huawei Enjoy 10e receiving EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.185 upgraded from 10.1.0.184

- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.

Security: Integrates the Android security patch released in March 2021.
March 2021 Security Patch Details: This security patch fixes 2 critical, 13 high levels, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.
HOW TO UPDATE:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & Updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Aside from all this, Huawei Enjoy 10e smartphone’s hardware and software allow the device to run with the latest custom OS, EMUI 11. At the moment, the company has not confirmed any official information on this matter.
