Tencent Music’s long audio MAU exceeded 100 million

Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME) announced that it will merge its Kuwochang Ting and Laan Ren Ting Shu into a new brand-Lazy Chang Ting, integrate resource advantages, and continue to deepen its deployment in the long audio field.

On April 23 last year, TME formally announced its long audio strategy, and simultaneously launched its new long audio product “Cool Me Listen”. After a year of development, as of the end of 2020, the number of monthly active users (MAU) of the long audio business has exceeded 100 million.

On January 15 this year, Tencent Music acquired 100% of Lairen Tingshu, which promoted the production of high-quality content in TME audiobooks.

According to Peng Jiaxin, Tencent Music will further launch a series of major initiatives in long audio products and strategies to help the long audio field release more value and market imagination.
