Here are step’s to set reminder on iPhone and iPad: Let’s check

An iPhone Never Forgets:

If you are as forgetful as I am, you usually need a little help to ensure that all work is done in time. In an ideal world, I would remember everything, but I would not. It hurts my brain. Fortunately, for people like me, Apple created the Reminders app.

This useful to-do list application is easy to use and can save you from worry. The reminder feature is pre-installed on all iOS devices, so if you have never seen it before, now is the best time to discover its hidden secrets.

Create a Reminder on iPhone or iPad:

There are many ways to set reminders on iPhone or iPad. The fastest way is to ask Siri. Just call your digital assistant and say “Remind me to wash the car.” Then, Siri adds your request to the “Reminders” application. Using Siri is not only fast, but also convenient because you can activate Siri in many different ways.

Here are a few of my favorites:

  • Take your device and say, ‘Hey Siri’
  • On the iPhone X or later, press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • On devices with a home button, press and hold the home button
  • When connected to CarPlay, use the button on your steering wheel
  • While using compatible headphones, press and hold the correct button

If you want, you can use the Reminders app and add reminders manually. Just open the app, click on the “Reminders” list, and then click the plus sign to add a reminder. When finished, click Finish.

iPhone users with phones that support 3D Touch can also press and hold the “Reminder” application icon to launch a shortcut menu. Through the shortcut menu, you can select a list to add reminders with just a few clicks.

Create and Edit Lists in the Reminders App:

Reminders can be organized into lists. For example, you might have a grocery list, a worklist, a family list, and so on. This is how to create a new reminder list.

  • On an iPhone, open the app, tap the plus sign at the top of the screen, then select List.
  • On an iPad, tap Add List in the bottom left-hand corner.
  • Next, type a name for your list
  • Select a color for your list
  • Click Done

After creating all the lists they need, iPhone users can rearrange them by pressing and holding the list name and dragging it up and down. On the iPad, you must first click “Edit” in the lower-left corner, and then drag the list into the desired order.

To change the order of reminders in the list, click “Edit” in the upper right corner of the list, and then use the handle on the right side of the reminder to drag it up or down as needed. Tap “Done” as you want. You can also use this method to change the color of an existing list. Just click “Edit” again, and then click “Color” to select a new color.

If you want to delete a list, click “Edit” in the upper right corner of the list, and then click “Delete List” at the bottom of the list. This action will delete the list and all reminders that have been added to the list.

To rename an existing list, click on the list and then click “Edit” in the upper right corner. Next, click on the title to change it to the desired name, and click “Done” when finished.

Finally, you can set a default list for “Reminders” in the “Settings” app. Just go to “Settings”> “Reminders”> “Default List” and select the one you want. This feature is useful when adding reminders via Siri. If you don’t specify a list to add content to, Siri will add a reminder to the default list.

Schedule Reminders on iPhone & iPad:

If you want to be reminded at a specific time, you can schedule a reminder to notify you when you need to complete something. A quick way is to use Siri. For example, you can say: “Remind me to take out the trash tonight at 6 o’clock”, and a reminder to remind you will be arranged at that time.

You can also do this in the Reminders app. Here’s how:

  • Click a reminder and then tap the “i” on the right-hand side, or swipe left on an existing reminder and tap More
  • Turn on the toggle switch next to “Remind me on a day”
  • Click Alarm and choose the date and time you want to be notified
  • Click Repeat if you want this to be a recurring alert
  • Click Done to save your preferences

Set Location-Based Reminders on iOS:

Another useful feature is the function that can remind you of tasks when you arrive or leave a specific location. For example, you can set a reminder to drink milk when you are off work. When the iPhone detects that you have left your workplace, it will trigger a notification to remind you.

Again, Siri is a quick way to set this up. Simply say, “Remind me to get milk when I leave this location,” and the remainder will be triggered when you leave work.

To perform the same action in the app, follow these steps:

  • Click a reminder and then tap the “i” on the right-hand side, or swipe left on an existing reminder and tap More
  • urn on the toggle switch next to, “Remind me at a location”
    Tap Location
  • Enter an address, choose Current Location, or pick from one of the recent destinations listed on this screen
  • Tap “When I Arrive” or “When I Leave” at the bottom of the screen to choose when your reminder should be triggered
  • Click Details in the top left-hand corner of the screen, and then tap Done.

In order to receive location-based reminders, you need to go to “Settings”> “Privacy” and make sure that “Location Services” is turned on for the “Reminders” app. You may also want to set up your home and work addresses by opening the Contacts application and adding these locations to your contact card.
