Everyone has to face the problem of spam calls on their devices, but thankfully, there are many ways to deal with the problem. In this guide, we will show you how to set up an Android phone to receive only “verified calls”.
This new feature can be used in the “Phone by Google” application, which can work with businesses to verify the identity of the caller, display the reason for the call, and even display a logo, making it easier for brand owners to identify the company.
Step 1: If the Google Phone app is not installed on your device, please go to the Play Store and install the app. You can download it by clicking here.
Step 2: Now, open the “Call via Google” app and click the three-dot menu icon in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Select the “Settings” option from the drop-down menu.
Step 4: In the “Settings” menu, click “Spam and Call Screen”. The same option may be called “Caller ID and Spam” on your device.
Step 5: Now, switch the “Verified Calls” option to “On”.
Step 6: You will now be asked to add a phone number to your Google account. This is required to use “Verified Call”. If you agree to the permission, click “Yes, I am”.
