Google has released Android 12 Developer Preview for Pixel series smartphones. Early versions of this new operating system have many new features, including an improved user interface.
One of the features is the ability to hide punch holes on Pixel smartphones. If you are using Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, or Pixel 5, please refer to the guide below to learn how to eliminate the notch at the top of the screen with Android 12 DP1 installed.
Step 1: First, open the “Settings” app on the Pixel smartphone.
Step 2: Now, you will need to enable the Developer option. To do this, go to “About Phone” and click “Internal Number” five times.
Step 3: Go back to Android Settings> “System”> “Advanced Developer” option.
Step 4: Scroll down and click on the “Drawing” section, then click on “Show Cutout”.
Step 5: From the available options, click “Hide” to hide the cut.
