Here are ways to create child account in Windows 10
Windows 10 allows multiple user accounts so that each user can have their own workspace according to their preferences. It also allows administrators to control access. The system also supports the creation of sub-accounts.
The sub-account in Windows 10 provides functions for a controlled environment to ensure the safety of young users when using applications, playing games and browsing the Internet.
With this account type, this person will be able to use the device, personalize the desktop, launch applications, create and store files, and safely browse the Internet using the Microsoft Edge web browser.
It also allows the main account user to use the Microsoft Family Online Dashboard to control the activities of the sub-users, impose restrictions on applications and games, control screen time, and perform more actions. If you don’t know how to create a subaccount, please follow the step-by-step guide below.
Step 1: Open the “Settings” application on your Windows 10 computer.
Step 2: Go to “Accounts” here and click “Family and other users”.
Step 3: Under the “Your Family” section, click the “Add Family Member” option.
Step 4: Now, select the “Add Member” option, and then specify the Microsoft account address to continue adding users.
Step 5: After that, click on the “Next” button, then the “Confirm” button, and then the “Close” button.
After completing the above steps, a new account with restricted access rights will be created for the child, and the new user will be able to log in to the system immediately. However, you cannot control the account until the user clicks the “Accept Invitation” button that is automatically sent during this process.
