iPhone Tips: How to charging your iPhone faster?

Posted on

Do I need to quickly charge the iPhone? This is a way to get more battery power in a shorter time. Sometimes you need to quickly charge your iPhone. Maybe your iPhone is about to run out of power, and you are about to leave the house, and you only have a few minutes to charge it.

Sometimes, it may not be compatible-the car charger or power outlet will only work after a certain period of time. However, sometimes fast charging is important, and sometimes you will go out most of the day in places where charging is not feasible or impossible.

Whatever the circumstance, here are tips for charging your iPhone as fast as possible.

1. Upgrade Your iPhone’s Charger and Cable

Since the release of the iPhone 8 in 2017, Apple has been equipping its smartphones with fast charging capabilities. This feature can be used with official and third-party charging accessories.

Compatible with any Apple charger with high WhatsApp, or a third-party charger that supports USB Power Delivery. You will also need lighting for the USB-C power cord. This cable and charger combination allows you to charge up to 50% of the iPhone’s battery in about 30 minutes. Some manufacturers claim that it is 2.5 times faster.

There are many brands and models of fast USB PD chargers to consider, but the fastest power range is 30W-60W per port. When buying a charger, it is important to check the relationship between total power and port power. Some chargers claim to produce 30W of power, but in two-port chargers, the USB ports are usually divided into 18W and 12W.

2. Turn Off Your Phone

Although this trick seems obvious, turning off the iPhone is harder than you think. With text messages, emails, messages, popularization, calls, reminders, and more information on the phone, it may be unnecessary to turn it off even in a short period of time. This is especially true if you are always on the go and have to check-in.

However, your phone will definitely charge faster when it’s turned off and doesn’t have to keep up with everything it’s running. If you can help it, shut your phone off, plug it in to charge, and go into another room to get work done on your computer. Hopefully, before you know it, you’ll be charged up.

3. Put Your iPhone in Airplane Mode

The cellular connectivity of the iPhone is one of the largest energy users. When not using Wi-Fi, our mobile phones will always look for the nearest cell phone tower. Your device emits radio waves to find them, and continuously analyzes the signal strength to measure the distance to the tower to get the best connection. This is a heavy task, and the energy demand will increase only when the signal tower is sparse and your phone must be reached by sending a strong signal.

Airplane mode temporarily cancels these operations because it disables all radios on the device. Tests have shown that this feature can shorten the entire charging time by a few minutes. Although the scale is small, every help.

If you’re new to iOS or unfamiliar with Airplane Mode, simply open Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner on iPhones without a Home button, or swiping up from the bottom of the screen on models with a Home button. Once it’s open, tap the airplane icon to enable or disable the mode.

4. Turn on Low Power Mode

Some functions affected include automatic email fetching, automatic downloads, certain visual effects, iCloud, auto-lock, and 5G usage. It also halts background app refresh, a feature that lets apps not currently in use keep checking for new content and updates.

To toggle Low Power Mode, open Settings, choose Battery and tap on the Low Power Mode switch at the top of the screen.

5. Keep Your iPhone Cool

To block outside heat, remember to keep your device away from direct sunlight and avoid setting it on hot surfaces, such as the tops of appliances or other electronics.

While charging, it’s also important to stop using apps that may create temperature spikes. Resource-heavy mobile games are notorious for heating up your device, so you should avoid them while your phone is on the charger.

6. Stay Away From Wireless Chargers

If in doubt, check the power data of Apple’s own MagSafe charger. The product page states that it can provide up to 15W of charge compared to a 30W or 60W charger that uses a traditional cable.

In the test, a significant time difference was found in the “Consumer Report”. Apple’s MagSafe wireless charger takes two hours and 36 minutes to charge the iPhone 12 Pro. In contrast, the Lightning cable for phones that Apple stocks can complete the same task in just 1 hour and 45 minutes.

So, if you need to, use wireless, but avoid getting more battery power in a shorter period of time, this is your goal.

7. Have a Backup Plan

What is better than super-fast charging? No need for one at first. Fast charging helps relieve stress and is a great luxury. However, during your stay and unable to plug in the device, it is more beneficial to have a paid backup plan.

This plan involves increasing your charging options. Consider buying other chargers for your vehicle, office, backpack, or gym locker. You can also change the car’s power socket to a “wall socket” by purchasing a power inverter to quickly charge on the road. Although this is not necessary in most cases if you spend a lot of time in the car and traditional charging methods are not doing enough, you can help.

Charge More in Less Time

These tips should help charge the iPhone faster so that emergency situations can be avoided in most cases. You can try which method is best for you.

However, if charging is still an issue, then you want to make your phone look deeper. Your overall battery health may deteriorate, especially when using old equipment.
