Xiaomi recently released a new version of the remote assistance feature. This version makes it useful even without the MiTalk. However, there is also a specific tutorial for the setup of the Xiaomi MIUI 12 remote assistance feature. So, let’s take a look at the steps
HOW TO START
Go to the Mi App Store to install MiTalk. Please assure that you have the latest version of this app. The acceptable model is version 1.2.30 and above. The current remote assistance function will work with Xiaomi Call.
The system requirement of the third-party device to control is version 9.10.80 and above. You can verify the Xiaomi App Store for updates.
LINK THE THIRD-PARTY DEVICE NUMBER
Log in to your Mi account in MiTalk, to get your device number. Also, enter the device number of the other party in the Xiaomi Call dial keypad to start a call.
CLICK REMOTE ASSISTANCE
After the call connection is successful, click the remote assistance button in the upper left corner to initiate a remote assistance request.
ENTER ASSISTANCE CODE
The third-party device (controlled device) will send its assistance code to the controlling device. Enter the assistant code in the pop-up window to successfully establish remote assistance.
