How to give Windows 10 Start Menu makeover by making it full-screen?

Posted on

Windows 10 introduced a number of new elements, including the option to use a touch-optimized interface (known as tablet mode) or a traditional desktop interface similar to that of Windows 7 along with live tiles from Windows 8.

If you have the Windows 10 operating system installed on your computer, when you click the Windows 10 “Start Menu” button, it will basically look like your screen. Everything is on the left and you can select applications by scrolling up and down.

You can change the Windows 10 Start menu and make it display in full screen (if eligible). What I mean is that your initials will no longer be helpless, but will spread their glory across your entire desktop.

STEPS:

  • For the first step, simply click on the Windows Start menu, and then once it opens, select Settings.
  • When the Windows Setting screen is open, click on Personalization.
  • Once the Personalization settings open, click on the Start button on the left side of the screen.
  • The second last button is the solution to your problem right now. “Use Start full screen” will be off at first. Just click on it, and it will switch to On.
  •  Now, close the entire menu, and your work is done. Go to your main Start menu on your desktop.

If you want to close the menu, just click on the Escape key on your laptop keyboard. If you love the full-screen mode, then keep it, but if it isn’t your thing, then there is no need to worry because the process to disable it is the same. Just follow the above steps but in Step-4, toggle it off to turn the full-screen off.
