How to fix burned out screen problems on an AMOLED Panel?
There are different types of screens: LCD, LED, OLED. In the case of AMOLED, it is one of the best options that high-end mobiles have incorporated in recent years. Its refresh rate added to the great purity of colors and exceptional brightness make it a benchmark in terms of screen quality.
However, its manufacture is very expensive, so if we want a mobile with this technology we will have to scratch our pockets. But we can find a problem that affects many devices today the screen burned.

AMOLED burn-in fixer
This application is one of the most downloaded to fix the screen burn problem. It is completely free and you can download it in its APK version. These are the steps to follow:
- Once you’ve installed the app, look for the Test Burn-In tab. A completely gray background will appear where you can see all the damaged pixels of your device.
- Next, you must click on the Fix Burn-In option.
- Click on it and the full screen will appear so that you can select the areas you want to correct.
- When you finish, it will ask you to activate the Color Inversion of your phone to check if you have corrected the burned areas.
Activate color inversion
As we have seen in the previous application, there is also the option to activate this tool. With this, you can hide a bit of the burned areas on your screen. This will affect your entire device, so no area will be left uncovered. To do this, you must follow these steps on your device. They are applicable for the vast majority of Android devices:
- Go to the Settings of your mobile.
- Look for the Accessibility section.
- Once inside, find the Display tab and tap Invert Colors.
- Activate the Use color inversion option.
