Have you ever stumbled upon a story or video on Instagram that you wish to share on WhatsApp? Since both WhatsApp and Instagram are owned by the same company (Facebook), it is pretty easy to share things from Instagram to WhatsApp.
You might already know that Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms with millions of accounts out there. There are times when you might wish to share someone’s Instagram profile with your WhatsApp contacts. Though, as of now, we can only share public Instagram profiles. If they have kept their profile private, then you can’t share it with anyone on WhatsApp.
To learn how to share an Instagram profile on WhatsApp, you can follow this basic drill.
Step 1. Firstly, you can just launch the Instagram app on your smartphone and find any profile you wish to share.
Step 2. Once you find the Instagram profile, tap on the three-dot icon from the top-right corner to get more options.
Step 3. Instagram will now display different options to report, block, and share the profile. From all the listed options, just tap on the “Copy Profile URL” button.
Step 4. Great! Once you have copied the Instagram link on the clipboard, you can launch WhatsApp and open any chat. You can long-tap on the typing space to get the “Paste” option.
Step 5. That’s it! This will just paste the profile link of Instagram on WhatsApp and generate its thumbnail. You can now send it to your WhatsApp contact easily.
