How to enable ‘Hold for me’ in Android 11 phones?
It seems that you have to make a phone call every time, but there is an automatic system to handle the lifting music and the places you don’t want to listen to.
With Android 11, you don’t have to worry about it anymore, because Google Assistant can help you deal with boring things, at least until the real person answers the phone.
Steps to enable ‘Hold for me’ in Android 11 phones
- Open the Phone app.
- Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top left-hand corner.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Hold for me.
- Tap the toggle to turn it on.
- When enabled, ‘Hold for me’ will have Google Assistant listen to the waiting music so you can continue doing other things without losing your place in line.
Live transcription is also provided, so you can see what is being said when some information is needed before someone picks up the phone.
