Huawei Mate 30 Pro is a multifunctional smartphone with well-designed technology and improvements in display, design, and especially the camera department.
It uses a 6.53-inch Horizon OLED display with 88-degree curved edges, FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1176), embedded sound, Kirin 990 chipset, and more.
According to current information, the phone is running on the latest EMUI 11 based on Android 11.
Set up your fingerprint sensor
Huawei Mate 30 Pro is equipped with an optical display fingerprint sensor, which is different from the embedded conventional sensor on the P20.
Move to the sensor in the display to push the Mate 30 Pro screen to the side and reduce the bezel.
This is slightly slower than the sensor in the P30 but on par with the selection of OnePlus devices.
Steps to setup:
- Go to Settings > Security and Privacy
- Select Fingerprint ID
- Enter your PIN, pattern, or password. If you haven’t set one, you will be asked to register one first.
- Select New in-screen fingerprint and follow the instructions.
- Tap Enrol Fingerprint
- Rotate your finger on the sensor to capture the edges of your fingerprint.
- Once complete, tap Done.
