Stop images and videos appearing in your gallery
Sharing photos and videos on WhatsApp is great, but you may not want to add them to your phone’s gallery.
On Android, a folder is created in the gallery by default, and on iOS, it is saved to your camera roll. If you don’t want this, you can turn it off.
- iOS: Settings > Chats > Toggle off Save to Camera Roll.
- Android: Settings > Chats > Toggle off Show Media in Gallery.
