You can add emergency contacts to Apple’s Health app. When you use emergency SOS to call emergency services, the system will send you a message containing your last known location.
To set up emergency contacts in iPhone 12: Open Settings > Emergency SOS > Edit Emergency Contacts in Health.
After this, the health app will start and you will follow steps 4-9 given below.
STEPS:
- Open the Health app
- Tap on your profile in the top right corner
- Tap on Medical ID
- Press on ‘Edit’ in the top right corner
- Tap on ‘Add Emergency Contact’
- Choose the contact
- Choose the number if they have more than one
- Select their relationship to you
- Tap ‘Done’ in the top right corner
If you open “Settings”> “SOS Emergency”, you will see a list of emergency contacts to whom messages will be sent and your location.
