How to manage apps running in the background on Huawei P30 Pro?

The Huawei P30 Pro is still a good phone in 2021 because it has some excellent specifications and many advanced features when it launches in May 2019.

This high-end device is equipped with a 6.47 OLED display, an older flagship Kirin 980 chipset, a 40MP quad-camera setup, and more features to match the performance of a smartphone that will be launched in 2021.

At the same time, this classic device runs on the latest EMUI 11 operating system, but unfortunately, it is based on Android 10.

Keep apps running in the background

One of the really annoying things about some Android phones (including the P30 Pro) is that the app will close in the background to save power. This can be confusing, especially if you are used to not using your iPhone.

If you need to see a notification when someone presses the smart doorbell, then killing the app is useless.

  • To stop this from happening, go to Settings > Apps, scroll down until you find the app you want to keep running. Tap on it, then tap Power usage details.
  • Now click App launch and toggle ‘Manage automatically’ to off, which will prevent Android from stopping the app when it’s running in the background.
