Stop new apps appearing on your home screen
In iOS 14, we now have an application library, which is perfect for storing applications that you don’t use frequently. But by default, whenever you download a new application, it will be displayed on your home screen.
If you go directly to the app library and your home screen is not full, go to Settings > Home Screen and then choose ‘App Library only’ under the ‘newly downloaded apps’ section.
