If your touch screen freezes, does not respond to touch or goes completely black, it does not mean that there is a problem with your phone or tablet.
It may be simple, such as a misbehaving application causing the phone to freeze, or a cracked screen causing the phone to respond slowly or not at all.
Fortunately, you can try some troubleshooting steps to help you solve the problem without having to send your phone for repair.
Force a reboot on the phone
- Hold down the Volume Down Key and the Power Button simultaneously for 7 seconds.
- Your device will restart and display the Samsung logo.
Update Software Version
- System updates can bring improvements that could fix your issue. To check if there is a software update available on your Galaxy phone launch your Settings > Software update > Download and install > Update Now.
