Here’s how to turn Smart lock on an Android phone

You are checking your phone regularly to get all the necessary information. And you’re tired of having to enter a password, PIN, Face ID, or any other security lock you are using.

I mean, if you need to unlock your phone 20 times a day, it’s really tiring, right? Therefore, don’t underestimate the value of protecting your phone. Google introduced us to a new feature called Smart Lock.

How to turn on Smart lock an Android phone

If you want to enable the Smart lock option, it won’t take much of your time. Follow the steps below.

  1. Open the “Settings” app.
  2. Click on “Personal” > “Security”.
  3. Go to “Advanced”
  4. Tap on “Trust agents” and check if Smart lock is on; if not, move the toggle on
  5. Now, go to “Screen Security”
  6. Tap “Smart lock”
  7. You will be prompted to enter your screen lock
  8. Once you do it, a Smart lock is enabled.
