Fuji brings new firmware update for medium format cameras

Fujifilm announced that it has released new firmware for the three medium-format mirrorless cameras GFX100, GFX100S, and GFX50S II, focusing on improving the stability of the camera pairing registration and improving the stability of the EVF electronic viewfinder.

The following is the firmware update log for the three cameras:

GFX100 (Ver.4.11)

1) Improved the stability of camera pairing registration.

2) Improved the stability when using the EVF electronic viewfinder.

3) Improved the phenomenon that the flash did not fire correctly when taking pictures with long exposure after selecting [First-curtain sync] in rare cases.

4) Improved the reliability of the camera charging through the USB cable and checking the remaining battery power display.

GFX100S (Ver.1.21)

1) Improved the stability of camera pairing registration.

2) Improved the stability when using the EVF electronic viewfinder.

3) Improved the phenomenon that the flash did not fire correctly when taking pictures with long exposure after selecting [First-curtain sync] in rare cases.

GFX50S II (Ver.1.02)

1) Improved the stability of camera pairing registration.

2) Improved the stability when using the EVF electronic viewfinder.

3) Improved the phenomenon that the flash did not fire correctly when taking pictures with long exposure after selecting [First-curtain sync] in rare cases.

4) Improved the color effect of photos under long exposure using an electronic shutter.

Moreover,  Fuji X-T4 and X100V cameras have also introduced new firmware to improve the stability of pairing registration and improve the stability of EVF.
