Microsoft Edge released an alternative to their Chrome Dinosaur game

More than a year ago, Microsoft Edge introduced an option to their Chrome Dinosaur game, which can provide users with entertainment when their network connection is disrupted.

Moreover, Microsoft said that the Edge Surf surfing game is more intuitive than the Chrome Dinosaur game. It requires you to press the space bar to start it without any other prompts.

Edge Surf also has many advantages, such as time trial, support for other input methods such as touch and gamepad, accessibility improvements, high scores, and re-made visual effects.

Microsoft today announced that it will provide surfing games for users of the official version of the Edge browser on Android. The game began to be used by Edge Canary users in September this year and is now being pushed to all stable version users.

Furthermore, the Microsoft surfing game is also being launched to users of the iOS version of the Edge browser, but it is still unclear when it will be completed.

This Android version of the surfing game update brings bug fixes and some improvements, such as new ski slopes instead of sea waves, and the need to avoid snowmen. If you don’t want to play without the Internet, you can now play Edge Surf games by typing Edge://surf in the address bar of the Edge browser.

Besides, the Microsoft Edge surfing game is largely inspired by the classic SkiFree that appeared on the old version of Windows in 1991. The user is challenged to avoid various obstacles and islands while ensuring a long-term ride in the wind and waves. Users can choose from three different modes, including the standard classic surf mode, time trial, and Zig-Zag mode.
