Redmi K50 series tipped to launch on February 2022

During the 2021 Snapdragon Technology Summit, Qualcomm Technologies launched a 5G mobile platform-a new generation of Snapdragon 8 mobile platform.

According to digital blogger @Digital Chat Station, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 will be available in the middle of this month, and the new Dimensity 9000 will need to wait until February next year.

In addition, the blogger also said that the OPPO Find X5 series is expected to wait until after the Spring Festival, and the Redmi K50 series is tentatively scheduled to be unveiled at the end of February.

Moreover, Lu Weibing revealed on November 1 that there is no Redmi K40S this year, and the next generation of Redmi flagship K50 will be prepared later.

According to previous reports, the Redmi K50 series will have four models, codenamed I10, I10a, I11, I11r. Among them, the model codenamed I10 will be equipped with Dimensity 9000 processor, and the I10a model will use the Snapdragon 870 processor.

On November 30th, the blogger once stated that Redmi’s Dimensity 7000 and Dimensity 9000 are not as fast as the new Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8 Gen1 models, although MIUI 13 is pre-installed.
