Microsoft’s next major version of Windows 11 will be launched next year in October

According to the latest report, among conservative Windows users, there is a long-term tradition, that is, they usually wait for the release of the first service pack before upgrading to the new Microsoft operating system.

The logic is that the first wave of new users will encounter bugs, and smarter users will upgrade to a more mature version of the new operating system because early unstable bugs or problems have been eliminated.

According to Thurrott.com, Microsoft will only make a major update to Windows 11 in October 2022.”Given that Microsoft has committed to annual feature updates, the next “full operating system update” is expected to be released in October 2022.”

Moreover, Microsoft has confirmed that it will provide the required features and improvements through monthly cumulative update patches. Microsoft said: New features and operating system improvements built from Windows Insider may appear in future versions of Windows, and when they are ready, we may deliver them as a complete operating system update or service version.

This means that the improvements to the “Start” menu that Microsoft tested in the latest Dev channel build of Windows 11 should enter the stable channel version of Windows 11 before the end of next year.
