Sony announced it will dismiss orders for the ZV-E10

The global chip shortage has caused Sony to stop selling other camera products. Sony has announced that it will suspend orders for the ZV-E10, which is a mirrorless Vlog micro-single camera released by Sony in August.

Sony announced the suspension of sales of the camera in an article on its website and pointed out that it will temporarily no longer sell the ZV-E10 in its stores or through any of its distributors. Sony said: “Regarding digital imaging products, due to the shortage of global semiconductors As a result, the purchase of parts has been delayed.”

Moreover, that this is far from the only camera product Sony has temporarily suspended sales this year. In November, Sony announced that it would stop selling A7 II, A6400, and A6100 series cameras, as well as ECM-B1M shotgun microphones and PXW-Z190 camcorders.

Sony also discontinued the Handycam HDR-CX680 camcorder in April. The Sony A9 also seems to be discontinued, or at least very out of stock. The camera is listed as “out of stock” in Adorama and B&H Photo, as is the Sony A7R II six years ago.

Not only Sony in June, but Nikon also stopped including EH-7P AC adapters in its Z7 and Z7 II cameras because there were not enough parts to produce. Canon also announced that when it ordered its new EOS R3, the shipment was delayed for as long as “half a year.” Earlier this year, Fujifilm’s X-S10 and some other camera equipment also experienced shipment delays.
