According to the latest report, the foundry UMC’s revenue continued to grow in November, reaching 19.661 billion Taiwan dollars approximately 4.522 billion yuan, a month-on-month increase of 2.62%, and a year-on-year increase of 32.55%. For two consecutive months, revenue hit a record high in a single month.

Moreover, benefiting from strong market demand, UMC’s 8-inch and 12-inch fabs continued to fully load their production capacity and set new records in October and November revenue month by month.
Furthermore, UMC’s October and November revenue totaled 38.82 billion Taiwan dollars approximately 8.929 billion yuan.
UMC predicts that wafer shipments in the fourth quarter are expected to increase by 1% to 2% compared to the third quarter, and the average selling price of products will also rise by 1% to 2%. The legal person predicts that UMC’s fourth-quarter revenue will increase by 2% to 4% from the previous quarter.
