OPPO released a poster today, the official announcement will be released at 16:00 on December 14th, the new generation of OPPO smart glasses. The poster stated that “this time we meet, it’s “lighter” and looser”, implying that the glasses are lighter in weight, comfortable to wear, and can get a better user experience.
Moreover, these glasses are expected to be AR glasses, the front lens is opaque or semi-transparent, and the frame is silver as the previous generation.

At OPPO Future Technology Conference 2020, OPPO launched OPPO AR Glass 2021. This product is equipped with the Snapdragon 865 chip, which can be used for watching movies, games, and home experiences. The actual effect is quite a 90-inch giant screen.
Furthermore, the previous generation product uses a 0.71 inch ultra-clear OLED screen, and the glasses have a ToF lens and a binocular fisheye lens, which can complete three-dimensional spatial positioning calculations and recognize gestures within milliseconds.
At the upcoming OPPO Future Technology Conference 2021, OPPO’s first self-developed chip will be officially released. It is an independent NPU. It is expected to improve the computing efficiency of mobile phones processing images and videos. It is manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm process technology.
