Vivo S12 series smartphone will release at end of December

MediaTek’s official Weibo released a message reviewing the characteristics of the Dimensity 1200 flagship chip. This open platform supports in-depth customization with manufacturers, is manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm process, and has MediaTek 5G UltraSave power-saving technology. Currently, Dimensity 1200 chip has AI, Ultra, Max suffix versions.

MediaTek said that the Vivo S12 series of mobile phones will be launched at the end of December 2021, and will be equipped with a customized Dimensity 1200 chip. The Vivo S12 series will include at least two versions, the standard version, and the S12 Pro. 

Moreover, the revealer said that the internal code name of the mobile phone is “Superman”, which focuses on portrait photography. It can be seen from the exposed mobile phone renderings that this product will be equipped with a front dual camera and is expected to have a front-fill light.

Furthermore, the revealer previously stated that Vivo S12 Pro will be equipped with an FHD+ Weiqu high-brush OLED screen on the front, a 50MP dual camera on the front, and a 108MP triple camera on the rear. The pricing of mobile phones is expected to be above 3,000 yuan.
