According to the latest report, in order to expand the availability of its mixed reality helmets, Microsoft has announced that it will provide HoloLens 2 devices for Indian users. The mixed reality helmet can now be sold in India through authorized dealers.
Moreover, the Microsoft HoloLens 2 development version is still limited to several countries and regions, including the United States, China, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Nevertheless, Indian companies can purchase other versions, including HoloLens 2 Industrial Edition, HoloLens 2, and remote assistance.

A few months ago, Microsoft announced that it would provide the device to businesses in South Africa and Mexico. And now, by introducing it to India, Microsoft hopes that Indian companies can fully tap the potential of its mixed reality helmets.
Furthermore, HoloLens 2 uses the Snapdragon 850 computing platform, providing 2-3 hours of battery life. This mixed reality helmet provides functions such as hand tracking, eye tracking, voice commands, spatial mapping, mixed reality capture, and 6DoF tracking.
