Moreover, the South Korean technology giant also said that in this year’s reorganization, 17 women or other company officials have been promoted to senior management positions, which is the largest proportion of women and company officials in such positions in history. Samsung also announced the promotion of the software management of the entire business unit.

Furthermore, Samsung had previously announced the changes to the Group CEO and president. In addition, Samsung announced on December 7 that it would merge the company’s mobile and consumer electronics businesses and the new division will be called ” Set Division .”

Han Jong-hee, who was promoted from Samsung’s TV research and development team, will replace the previous co-CEOs Dongjin Koh and Hyunsuk Kim, who was responsible for the mobile and consumer electronics divisions, respectively.

The 59-year-old Han Jong-hee, as a senior member of Samsung’s TV business, will lead the newly established “Set Division” department. General Kyung Kye-Hyun is in charge of the company’s equipment solutions department.
