Moreover, Samsung’s new generation of 24 Gbps GDDR6X memory has a single 16Gb, which is 2GB. In addition, Samsung has also sampled 20Gbps, 16Gbps, and 14Gbps modules with a single 2GB capacity. At present, Samsung’s mass-produced model is 18Gbps.

According to the report, Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 3090 Ti 24G will be equipped with Micron’s 21Gbps GDDR6X video memory. It is also the first product equipped with Micron’s 16Gb (2GB) 21Gbps GDDR6X video memory. After using the new video memory, only 12 pieces are needed to reach 24GB, which will simplify the PCB design of the RTX 3090 Ti 24G.

Furthermore, AMD will push the new desktop graphics card RX 6000 S series, which may use 24 Gbps GDDR6X video memory earlier than Nvidia.
