Microsoft launched Win10 KB5008212 cumulative update

According to the latest report, Microsoft released the KB5008212 cumulative update on December 13th for all versions of the Windows 10 operating system currently supported, with a size of approximately 600MB. This update does not have any new features, but only brings a lot of security fixes.

At the same time, Win10 2004 version will stop mainstream support after December 14, 2021, and Microsoft will no longer provide any updates for it; however, the enterprise version and education version will receive security updates in the next year.

Furthermore, Microsoft has not announced the detailed log of the Win10 KB5008212 update, only saying: “This update includes various security improvements to the operating system. This version does not record other issues.

Specifically, the versions of the Win10 operating system adapted for this update are:

  • Win10 2004, the updated version becomes Builds 19041.1415

  • Win10 20H2, the updated version becomes Build 19042.1415

  • Win10 21H1, the updated version becomes Build 19043.1415

  • Win10 21H2, the updated version becomes Build 19044.1415
