Team Group releases DDR5 industrial/server memory

TEAMGROUP announced the launch of a variety of industrial/server DDR5 memory modules. This series of products provides an ECC-DIMM version, which not only supports on-chip ECC but also supports signal error correction. In addition, the R-DIMM version is also available.

The highest frequency of Team Group’s next-generation server memory will reach 6400MT/s, with a maximum capacity of 128GB per memory. DDR5 memory moves the power management circuit to the PCB, which helps to improve signal integrity and anti-interference in complex environments. 

Moreover, a single memory module provides two independent sub-channels with a faster speed, but the total bandwidth is not much different from that of DDR4.

For highly sensitive applications such as medical care, airplanes, bank databases, and big data servers, Team Group has introduced Row Hammer protection technology and added DFE (Decision Feedback Equalization) support for decision feedback equalization technology, which greatly improves security.

Furthermore, the memory has eliminated the resistance and replaced it with DFE, which reduces the resistance-related abnormal resistance, vulcanization, and other problems, which helps to improve the stability of long-term use.

Besides, Team Group’s DDR5 industrial/server memory series provides U-DIMM, SO-DIMM, WT-DIMM (Wide Temperature Memory). The memory compatibility test will start in early 2022 and will be officially shipped afterward.
