According to the latest report, Samsung has now released mobile phone ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) manufacturer orders in 2022, and Wingtech has received about 40 million orders from Samsung.
The sources said that in addition to winning a large number of mobile phone orders from Samsung, Wingtech has also recently obtained multiple other mobile phone ODM projects, and at the same time further expands the size of the mobile phone ODM business team.
Moreover, Wingtech has been one of the leaders in the mobile ODM industry for many years, and Samsung is one of its important customers. ODM refers to original design manufacturers, that is, these manufacturers design and manufacture smartphones, but such phones will be handed over to the brand side, affixed with the brand side’s label, and the brand side will sell it.

The ODM model combines IDH and OEM two models, ODM business model = design (IDH) + supply chain + manufacturing (OEM), mobile phone product development, design and production must be carried out at the same time, so the technical barriers are still very high.
Furthermore, there are currently three major ODM manufacturers in China, namely Huaqin, Wingtech, and Longcheer, which are also the world’s largest foundries.
According to last year’s data, the three ODM manufacturers accounted for 33.5%, 27%, and 15.8% of all ODM mobile phones, respectively. The three companies accounted for a total of 76.3%. Customers include companies like Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung, OPPO, Lenovo, LG, Nokia, Meizu, etc.
