Xiaomi gets patent authorization for curling screen

Some screen manufacturers had introduced a curly screen solution before, and OPPO had also launched a related concept phone “OPPO X 2021”.

Moreover, Xiaomi Mobile Software Co., Ltd. recently obtained a patent authorization for “folding mechanism, curling screen structure and electronic equipment”.

Furthermore, the summary shows that the folding mechanism includes a first moving plate, a second moving plate, and a linkage mechanism. This patented setting allows the object to be curled to switch between the folded state and the unfolded state.

The object to be curled can be a screen, which realizes the function of cooperating between the screen and the curled state of the whole device, and achieves the purpose of the screen zoom function in a complete state, and reduces the size.
