Samsung Electronics executive Seokwoo Yong said that the new HDR10 + Gaming standard will be adopted by Samsung Neo QLED series and Q70 and above TV series and gaming monitors in 2022, allowing users to enjoy the gaming experience through cutting-edge visual effects and richer and more realistic images.

According to officials, this new standard developed by HDR10+ Technologies, LLC provides game developers with the tools they need to provide players with a consistent HDR gaming experience without the need for manual calibration of various display technologies for various input sources.

Furthermore, several game companies, including Saber Interactive, are expected to showcase their HDR10+ games at the upcoming 2022 International Consumer Electronics Show. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series, RTX 20 series, and GTX 16 series GPUs will support the HDR10 + Gaming standard, and the driver is scheduled to be released in 2022.
