At the China Integrated Circuit Design Industry 2021 Annual Conference and Wuxi Integrated Circuit Industry Innovation and Development Summit, TSMC China General Manager Luo Zhenqiu said in an interview with media, TSMC will achieve zero growth in carbon emissions in 2025, return to 2020 standards in 2030, and achieve net-zero emissions in 2050.
Luo Zhenqiu said that TSMC has already taken practical actions and formulated corporate social responsibility goals, not only focusing on green manufacturing, establishing a responsible supply chain, creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, talent cultivation, and caring for disadvantaged people, but also committed to chip design and packaging.
